Hi, I’m Erik Flippo.

After working in-house and for agencies as a graphic designer for 15 years, I decided in 2006 to go out on my own. So I started Peavine Design here in my hometown of Reno, Nevada.

I have a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina and a BFA in Graphic Design from Art Center College of Design.

My professional experience includes stints at ANG Newspapers in Pleasanton, California; Fido Design in Pasadena; STUDIOS Architecture in San Francisco; Telocity in Cupertino; Claria Corporation (not the current incarnation, however) in Mountain View; and Art Associates and Octane Studios in Reno.

I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Advertising Association of Northern Nevada.

I have some lucite trophies on my bookshelf and once had a piece featured in Print magazine.

I know the difference between CMYK and RGB.
